Union School

  • June 3, 2016

In Johnson County in northern Arkansas you’ll find a beautiful old schoolhouse with a long, interesting history. The original school was built in 1886.  That building caught fire during school services on January 27, 1928. A new building was built in its place during the Great Depression (1928-1929). The schoolhouse was also used for other purposes such as church services and community events.
